Vision without action is merely a dream, action without vision just passes the time but vision with action can change the world.

Strategic Objectives:

Our business has a threefold vision as follows:

1. To create finance for ministry

2. To create training opportunities for those marginalised in our communities

3. To create sustainable manufacturing jobs

These overarching objectives are the foundation of our business and from those every action and decision is grounded.

1. To create finance for ministry

The ministry we support is Green Pastures Church and within that organisation we partner with Compassion Ministries Ltd & Connect Ministries Ltd.

The ministry we support is Green Pastures Church and within that organisation we partner with Compassion Ministries Ltd & Connect Ministries Ltd. These are regulated charities reaching the local communities they serve and offering support and ‘wisdom for life’ through a series of programmes – links to their websites can be found below.

Since inception Advance Engineering has donated over £430K to Green Pastures Church

2. To create training opportunities for those marginalised in our communities

A key element of the Compassion programmes is the installation of a work-ethos into those participating.

Advance Engineering provide paid work placements of between 8 hours and 37 hours per week for those on the programmes – depending on the length of time they’ve been with Compassion and their ongoing performance and attendance.

A wide variety of guidelines helps those training set their own goals and targets and to drive their speed through the programme themselves – for example setting how many hours they work and when and how they plan to increase that.

Most trainees spend three years on the programme before graduation.

Since inception Advance Engineering has created 36 paid training placements for local trainees – 100% of those trainees were unemployed prior to coming onboard.

3. To create sustainable manufacturing jobs

As a fully commercial business that also aims to train people with little or non qualifications and experience then it’s vital we have a solid base of key skilled personnel available.

We’ve created 38 jobs (FTE) since inception in a variety of roles and as the business expands we plan to add roles as they become necessary and affordable. With a desire to bring manufacturing jobs specifically to the Ballymena area our business plan focuses on this objective.
